I can't but I'm sure they can
There are some pay parking lots that close kind of early. They also have valet.
No it does not
Casual.
As far as I can tell, The Sequoia is a bookable space for private parties. It seats 50 people, and catering prices start at $50 per person, featuring the same menu items as Wayfare.
Upscale restaurant with traditional twist.Grate place for lunch time or dinner time.Food served had quality and everyone are interested to try the Legendary Burger
Food and atmosphere are both on point! The burrata toast was a nice surprise! I never thought strawberries and burrata could work so well together!
Very precise cooking and cleaning going on when I deliver here... so... I know the food is good...believe me a clean kitchen is a good kitchen!
A friend was visiting who is a total foodie so I booked a table at Wayfare Tavern. So glad I did! It is within walking distance which is a huge plus here in the city but the atmosphere and experience were excellent!
Always a solid option for brunch or lunch. The fried chicken is made to perfection and the popovers are delectable. The ambiance is cozy warm and inviting. I like that they serve during that critical time in between lunch and dinner on the weekends.
Great service, setting and food, no wonder it's been around so long
The place itself is really nice, I liked the ambience. However, I came with certain expectations. Famous fried chicken was literally raw inside so had to be replaced. Taste wise it was no better. It was plain, bland. The quality is there, but lacks in taste. We also ordered a Tavern burger which was also of high quality but very bland. Service was friendly but extremely rushed. Although we booked the table, it felt like the staff wanted us out immediately to let new people in. Unfinished food was snatched away from the table with such speed that you would not have time to notice and object. I had a full portion of fries that I kept for the last bite, and the waiter just grabbed it away. At that point I could not be bothered as I did not want to stay at a place for any longer since I was clearly not welcomed there.Anyway, it was an experience, but not the one I would repeat again.
I came here during lunch with a reservation and it was mayhem. Reservationist was so busy and focus on getting everyone seated during the rush, that after the rush they looked like a completely different person... they were happy, smiling, and laughing. We weren't greeted this way so I knew that this was a very high volume moment for them.Staff was great! I don't know what else to say about them except they were really great. My issue was the food. Best burger in American... or was it the fried chicken? Either way they were both just ok. I'm not sharing this to shut a place down like all other monsters out there but I need those low key picky eaters out there that this was good but not "the best". Unless this was an off day... i dont know.
Stopped in for drinks and dessert. Donuts were undercooked, service was extremely forgetful, and they were out of both drinks we initially ordered, though they only discovered that after taking the order and walking away from the table. We had to ask for various things multiple times. Maybe it was because we came in later in the evening, because we were sitting in the bar area, I'm not sure. But I have always loved this place in the past, and this was a disappointing ending for our evening.
Came here for lunch. Bar seating. No wait at 11:30 amPresentation/ decor: 5 starService : 4 starFood : 3.5 star Price: 3 star We ordered were: Fried chicken: this supposedly won award. It has sage and rosemary with roasted garlic. It was juicy, crunchy, and savory. I would compare it to a more New England style, not Cajun. Chicken salad Tartine/ no fries/ sub Brocollini: solid, rustic, nothing too memorable. Most memorable part of the meal was the Popovers! They were popping hot and the butter just melt into the crust!!
Attentive service, good food, prime location. The only downside is that the tavern dining area on the main floor where we sat is very noisy. My wife had their fried chicken and I had the Tavern Burger. We recommend both.
The food here is delicious. The service is great. High recommend
Wow what a totally fun place to go to. Feels like San Francisco. Good food, great service. Smack dab in downtown.
This Tylor Florence's place and has his cooking sencability. Good solid technique that is innovative and builds on a solid core of classic cooking. All the dishes a re great but for someone new I recommend the deep fried chicken or the burger. It is about doing well known things in a thoughtful and skilled way. (This includes the cocktails and wine list.)
Catered event. Drinks were excellent (even created a non-alcoholic lemonade for me) Passed appetizers were exceptional, good variety and gourmet quality. Will try on our own soon!
Everything was delicious. The service and decor top notch. Definitely ask for the bread made fresh every hour. Delicious!
Good food and service. Even at 3PM on a Friday the place was busy and a bit loud for my tastes - but its a tavern/restaurant, so some noise is to be expected. Mixed Drinks were only ok, but the food (we had a cheese sandwich and a hamburger) was very good.
Salmon special was AMAZING! Crispy skin and cooked perfectly. The popovers are to die for and if you like tea, I recommend ordering it. It’s a regular unsweetened ice tea, but served with a small scoop of lemon sorbet (instead of a boring ol lemon) and a fruity simple syrup to sweeten it instead of sugar or Splenda. Phenomenal fast service, amazing food and great location in the financial district. Book a reservation! They get busy.
I deliver their food via caviar. Professional, family oriented restaurant. They are always on point and I get many great orders. I will bring my family for steaks and scotch!
We booked ahead when passing during the daytime, turned out to be a good idea as there were no spare tables when we arrived (packed full on a Monday night). We did initially have to wait for our table to be cleared but once we were seated we were pleased with our spot.Service was a little slow to start but not necessarily a bad thing as it allowed us to peruse the menu and get settled. Turned out everything was really good, service, ambiance and of course the food. Soup, chicken and steak all went down well and the deserts provided a great finish. We really enjoyed our visit and would return without hesitation.Yes it's a pricey but for us we feel we got what we paid for.By the way, the bread mentioned in other reviews; it's actually 'yorkshire pudding'. Trust us, we're from the UK.
Wow. Really impressed by Wayfare Tavern. Great meal and incredible service. Will definitely be coming back.
Great service and a nice cozy atmosphere. I sat at the bar and watched my very delicious burger being cooked and constructed. Would definitely recommend
Date night, business meeting, casual happy hour with friends, Wayfare Tavern is your go to restaurant. Tyler Florence and team deserve all 5 stars and more and if you’ve been more than once, try more than the fried chicken. Every dish is phenomenal; had the best sole meunière here outside of France.
Amazing food and great service. Bone marrow + duck breast = sublime!
Fabulous!Valet Parking - great guy - $12 pre tipBest Bartender - Sat night - v attentive and smart.Menu is to die for...atmospheres is classic upscale Tavern...every seat was taken. Our new waiter was assisted by another...well done.Decor - downstairs - is quirky Elegant and fun....The oysters are sublime....popovers are a treat...the deviled egg presentation is a whimsical “wowâ€...cannot wait to return. Not kidding.
Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and very tasty cocktails. My wife had the Tavern Burger, I had the poached eggs and the Bently Reserve cocktail. Their brunch was served with rolls too which were very soft and delicious. The servers were very attentive and professional. The music was jazzy and added to the ambiance. We reserved in advance and had no problem getting our table.
Great place for a business lunch or intimate dinner. Service was awesome even on a crowded Friday noon. Good CA twist on some southern comfort food classics. The fried chicken is just like my grandpa used to make! And the Mac and cheese we as to die for. Thanks for a fun lunch and will be back again!
Was told about this place and how good the fried chicken is. Was not disappointed.
This is somewhat artificial: we were in a separate room for a business dinner. Food was good (king salmon and pork loin) but the pork was a bit tough. Salad and soup were very good. Creme brulee was also really good.
Great food great service. i love this place, they are so friendly and nice. I appreciate the service. Cheers guys.
Great lunch spot...if you can get in! Try the fried chicken, good stuff!
Friendly staff. Great selection. Great prices
Good food. The popovers were great. The fried chicken; really nothing to phone home about. Attentative service.
Excellent food. Good place for dinner.. The servers do make it a busy place though... always around....
Fried chicken is way overrated.. Good, but nothing to write home about
The food and cocktails are lovely, but the pork shank was a masterpiece. Delicious and Sabina was a gracious host and bartender to this lone traveler.
We came here on a whim because the food channel called this fried chicken the best in America. That completely did not disappoint, and two of us ordered friend chicken, which is a huge portion, BTW. Our appetizers were very good, but not super special. We had deviled eggs, beef tartare and fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were very good, but I would not really order the other two things again. The donuts for dessert were fabulous.
What can I say? Absolutely wonderful meal, excellent service, delicious food. 5-stars all the way!
Upscale yet relaxed atmosphere. Food is great.
Excellent food, excellent service, drinks were great and Norah was great and helpful. Great place to go!
Ok, the bread - popovers (guess that's how it's called) they give you is THE BEST BREAD I have ever eaten. Eat it hot. The place is a bit more upscale than I anticipated so keep that in mind. Food was good and so was the friendly service. Went on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty busy and noisy.
good fried chicken & appetizer. The bar stool is really uncomfortable & feels it's going to fall apart any min. Services are ok.
Came for the burger on a recommendation (cheers Jarred), was not disappointed. Lovely little eatery with a nice selection of seats from bar to booth to chefs counter. Nice atmos, friendly and attentive staff and a decent selection of beers. Would go again for sure. Gets pretty rammed at peak times.
Stellar quality at reasonable prices. Exceptional service in a lovely atmosphere. The food and experience were delectable.
Great service and experience. Highly recommend for the quality of cocktails and dinner.
The bread they give you was like a pancake in bread which maybe doesn't sound good but was the most delicious bread I've ever had. All the food and drinks I tried were very good. The staff were also very polite to us even though half of our table decided they were not hungry and didn't order mains. Thanks for still being nice to us! Very professional.
